News Update
(March 2008)
Following a successful application to ‘Awards for All’ the hall has now had new front doors fitted and new carpeting in the entrance hall and corridor. The committee intends to replace the back doors as soon as possible and the toilets are also in the process of being decorated. Once this work has been done the main renovation of the hall will be completed. The next big purchase will be a commercial dishwasher. This will be good news for everyone who has stood in the kitchen washing up after an event.
Whilst most of the hard work of funding the hall restoration is behind us, the committee does need some new members. The committee meets monthly to discuss the ongoing maintenance & day to day running of the hall and like any organization it is important to have new people & fresh ideas coming in. So if you would like to join us or would like more information please ring Lyn on 01886 812582
Hire charges remain the same and are aimed to give local residents, in particular, excellent facilities at a reasonable charge. Rachel Austin our booking clerk 01886 812880 is always happy to give further information on booking the hall.
Anyone who would like to view the hall can either ring Rachel, Lyn 01886 812582 or Pat 01886 812313.
