created on the Recreation Ground. By 1999 the club's 30 members competed in 26 friendly
matches with other clubs throughout the West Midlands. The Club Chairman, Eddie Thompson,

meet on Mondays 6pm. Members who prefer to have a go at another time, can just give Marie
or Colling a call.
In the winter the club uses the Village Hall for indoor bowling.
The Friendship Club was formed in 1971 to provide an opportunity for
local residents over the age of 50 to meet, exchange ideas and socialise on a regular basis.

The Clifton-on-Teme Hunt is one of the youngest
in England, founded by local farmers in 1926. The hunt kennels were originally at Shelsley
Walsh near the Kennel Bend on the Hill Climb track.

Year's day the hounds meet again at the New Inn. The Hunt also organises the annual Clifton
Point-to-Point races at Upper Sapey.

A multi-use pavilion has since been added, enabling Tennis Club members to enjoy all year round playing and changing facilities. The Club is affiliated to the Lawn Tennis Association and caters for juniors and students as well as family members. Club nights every Monday & Wednesday 6.30pm.
The Clifton Handbell Ringers were formed over 30 years ago following the discovery of some handbells at Shelsley that were not being used.
