The Clifton Baden Powell Scout hut hosts a wide range of activity for local boys (Beavers, Cubs and Scouts) and girls (Rainbows, Brownies and Guides) from the age of 5 or 6 upwards.
Beavers meet on Thursdays 5.30pm - 6.30pm. They are the youngest members of the Scout Association, aged 6-8 and belong to the Severn and Teme BP District. Recent activities enjoyed by the Beavers include rafting, fishing and archery. Beavers have been working towards their fitness, healthy eating and Air Activity badges.*

Cubs meet on Thursday 6.45pm - 8pm and are aged 8-10½. Recent activities enjoyed by the Cubs’ activities include camping, climbing, canoeing and fishing; they have been working towards their hiking, map-reading and camping badges.*

Scouts:
Clifton scouts currently meet at Great Witley as there is no one to supervise or lead them in Clifton.
[*Both the Beaver and Cub groups are very full at present with waiting lists.]
Rainbows meet on Wednesday, 4.30pm -5.30pm. They are the youngest group of the girls,
aged 5–7.

Brownies also meet on Wednesday from 5.30pm-7pm and are aged 7-10. Their activities include games, going on trips, working for badges and generally having fun.

Guides hold their meetings at the BP Hut on Mondays from 6.30pm to 8pm in school term only. Activities include go-karting, netball, rounders, swimming and other sports. They also do ‘go for its’ and badges plus visits to anything of interest, from a ghostly house to the safari park, plus the annual guide camp.
